Wire Outbound

An Outbound Wire is a payment originated by your organization that is being sent to another financial institution. Wires represent electronic funds transfers between two accounts at different financial institutions settled over the Fedwire system.

Wires require information about the end recipient including name and address. This information is not validated in the Staging environment. Refer to the Counterparties section for guidance on creating a counterparty for Wire payments.

Once the Outbound Wire transaction is created it will show as “Sent” and shortly transition to “Success”.
