Book External

Book External transactions are transactions between two different accounts held by different legal entities at the same financial institution.

Book External payments may be sent from Deposit Accounts, Line of Credit Accounts, or Virtual Accounts* (created via the ledgering/account endpoint https://docs.victorfi.com/reference/createaccount). It is not possible to send a Book External to a Virtual Account.

By default, support for Virtual accounts and Lines of Credit is not activated in Staging. Please contact your Victor representative or email [email protected] for more information on this functionality.

Created payments will briefly show a status of “Sent” before transitioning to “Successful”.
